Encyclopedia of new RELIGIOUS movements edited by Peter B. Clarke provides a truly engaging and authentic view of the emerging RELIGIOUS movements on a background of the universe. This encyclopedia, containing 428 articles from leading academics, studies the remarkable examples of RELIGIOUS movements emerging in each continent. Clarke as an editor has written a higher income as "New Religions as a global phenomenon", a "Resource guide of NRM" and a useful article entitled "Typology of new religions" in this encyclopedia. This encyclopedia is a leading, research, updating, important, and valuable reference for academic libraries. However, the encyclopedia suffers from some disadvantages, among which we can refer to apparent contradictions in Index, the incidence of historical errors, print, etc., in its context and putting NRM identified with the Cults, sects, and counter-culture groups

There are various and sometimes contradictory views regarding the possibility of RELIGIOUS knowledge. In this article the two bases of RELIGIOUS knowledge and making the other SCIENCES RELIGIOUS, i.e. the theory of “comprehensiveness of religion” and “the Divine look at the universe”, are mentioned and tending to the theory of “comprehensiveness of religion”, the theory of “unity of science and religion” is emphasized; also the possibility of having RELIGIOUS science and the way to actualize it are discussed. Showing the non-cognitive aspects of science, the author has tried to show that these non-cognitive aspects may be completed by the non-cognitive aspects of religion; thus the possibility of RELIGIOUS science is proved. The author of this article believes RELIGIOUS knowledge is an intra-RELIGIOUS subject which has no answer in religion and also believes that science cannot answer the possibility or impossibility of RELIGIOUS knowledge; rather the author has proved RELIGIOUS knowledge by a philosophical and interpretational approach to the subject. The hermeneutical and interpretational approach of this article shows that reality has some esoteric aspects which should be interpreted step by step to explore the reality and reach to its core.

This paper argues that it is not reasonable for a critical rationalist to be a RELIGIOUS believer in the Abrahamic tradition. The argument is distinctive, in that it takes seriously the critical rationalist view that we should abandon ‘justificationist’ argument. What this means, is that the structure of argument then becomes a matter of offering theories as resolutions of problems, and then judging how they fare in the face of ongoing critical appraisal. The paper surveys issues in several areas, including God and what is good; homosexuality; mysticism; and messianic ideas. It argues that, unless the believer engages in intellectual retreat (something that is unacceptable for the critical rationalist), the problem-situation facing the believer appears to be so daunting that it would be unreasonable for them to hope that they can overcome it.

In recent decades, some thinkers have spoken of RELIGIOUS science and although they agreed on its possibility, they did not have a single theory on its meaning, application and how to distinguish it from secular science. Everyone agreed that science was influenced by presuppositions, but there was serious disagreement about how and to what extent they affected them. This statement was discussed more in natural science than in humanities. Because if natural science discovers the laws of nature, how do presuppositions influence the discovery of laws? If the function of religion is not the interpretation of nature, how can it intervene in the knowledge and interpretation of nature and make science a religion? The present article tries to express the meaning of RELIGIOUS natural science and prove its realization by descriptive-analytical method. According to this article, one of the most important features of religion is the teleology of nature, and this feature, makes natural science dependent on religion.

The present paper is going to deal with the question whether Hermeneutics can be considered and used as a methodology in RELIGIOUS knowledge. Since the question seems ambiguous in the first look, the author first of all proceeds to make it clear by explaining the main single words. Then, the paper classifies different approaches taken by Hermeneutists to the question. And finally, he describes his selected opinion. In particular, the article claims that hermeneutical theory can be used as methodology in RELIGIOUS SCIENCES both in the context of justification and the context of discovery. It should be emphasized that such possibility has not fully put in practice yet.

Since the beginning, the method of revealing (exploring) RELIGIOUS knowledge has been one of the important issues in religion. One such method has been proposed by the great theologian and prominent intellectual Ayatollah Mirza Mahdi Esfahani….

The Qur'an contains RELIGIOUS values ​​for the advancement of man to happiness. The claim is that Quranic teachings are the basis of RELIGIOUS values; By choosing it better, the method of proving RELIGIOUS beliefs can be extracted. This research tries to extract the method of proving RELIGIOUS beliefs with a business approach and by using artistic forms with a descriptive and analytical method and with a better selection of Quranic teachings. Based on the verses, the process was defined as the introduction to the institutionalization of RELIGIOUS values ​​in the businessman 1- Gaining self-knowledge (knowing the talents, capacities, existential dimensions and position of man in the universe); 2- Gaining monotheistic insight (knowing the origin and your relationship with the Creator); 3- Reciprocity is (knowing the destination and drawing the path of happiness in the universe). After the realization of these three stages, the beliefs must be proven through rational and scientific reasoning and penetrate, in this case, the acceptance of good qualities in the businessman will be facilitated.

The present study was to recognize children's RELIGIOUS educational damages via interview with experts in educational SCIENCES, psychology, RELIGIOUS knowledges, children's literature and primary school teachers. The questions of research are as follows: what are children' s RELIGIOUS educational damages in primary schools based on the interviewee' s viewpoints?, what are right solutions to repair the recognized damages according to interviewee's opinion?, and one marginal question: what are the similarities and differences between the interviewee's opinions in educational SCIENCES, psychology, religion, literature and primary schools teachers?. This study was a qualitative research which used a half-open interview to collect required data of research. Number of experts participated in the survey was 18.8 out of 18 were experts in educational SCIENCES and psychology, 4th interviewees were experts in RELIGIOUS knowledges, just 2 experts in children literature and 4th primary school teachers. Considering the purpose of this research, it must be mentioned that a systematic sampling was used through collection of data which were analyzed by rational or conventional content analysis method and results were inferred from the collected data. The most important damages recognized through the research were listed below: neglecting the principle of seeking religion by person and focusing on teaching religion instead, not taking individual RELIGIOUS experiences into account, not considering the principle of priority of being, not administering religion-oriented educational program, not caring about the principle of freedom in education particularly RELIGIOUS one, disregarding equilibrium and finally not using imagination and art in education.

Introduction: Publishing articles on RELIGIOUS issues is an effective means to understand RELIGIOUS concepts and their relation to health and hygien. The aim of this study was to discover tendency to RELIGIOUS issues in scientific outputs of medical SCIENCES.Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on all Persian Medical SCIENCES Journals during two years (2011-2013). Titles, abstracts and keywords of all articles were reviewed in terms of words such as God, Quran, Verses and Hadith, prayer, fast, and religion. The data were collected by means of a tailor-made data collection sheet and analyzed using descriptive statistics.Findings: The results showed that 82 (0.6% of articles) of 13000 published articles from 126 journals of 47 Medical SCIENCES Universities (during 2011-2013) were used mentioned words. Journals of Shahid Beheshti, Babol and Isfahan Medical SCIENCES Universities had the highest frequency of related articles (13, 11 and 9, respectively) and Quran was the most frequent word among all detected articles (19 times).Conclusion: Although a number of scientific outputs of medical SCIENCES were dedicated to RELIGIOUS issues, the rate of such topics was limited. Therefore, it is recommended that the specialists must be careful and take measures aimed at publishing more scientific articles in this field.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Citation analysis is a suitable approach to evaluate and assess the usability of scientific resources. Theses are valid documents about scientific researches of any academic professionals. The aim of this study is to determine the condition of Quran and other RELIGIOUS resources use among the medical and dental graduates’ theses references using citation analysis approach.METHODS: This cross-sectional study was conducted among all the medical and dental graduates’ theses at Babol University of Medical SCIENCES (from spring 2006 to summer 2011) using citation analysis. The data were collected by means of a tailor-made data collection sheet and analyzed using descriptive statistical indexes.FINDINGS: The outcome extracted of 511 theses and 20776 citations showed that there were only 19 RELIGIOUS cited references over the six years, and the books were the most frequent format (74%). The mean age of references was 11.79±10.3 years.CONCLUSION: The conclusion reached by this research is that RELIGIOUS resources were used in composing medical thesis and dental thesis. But the rate of such usage is limited.
